The longer the application interval (4 hours – 12 hours, etc.), the greater the contact angle described above, and consequently, the greater the waterproofing effect of HS24 Idro on the treated substrate.

It protects breathable paints, lime-based paints, stucco, old paints, and plastic wall coverings. It penetrates deeply into porous substrates subject to rising damp without forming film, thus preventing water from coming into contact with the calcium carbonate, which is particularly present in stone materials, thus preventing degradation by carbonation.
